SINK HOLES IN WINKLER COUNTY

Not many counties in Texas have had the emergency disaster preparedness as
Winkler County has in dealing with the Sink Holes; 

There are TWO SINK HOLES in Winkler County

 The First One Formed on June 03, 1980  About 2.5 miles northeast of
 Wink, Texas near TX Hwy 115 and near the Shell Tank Farms.
 

The Second One  Formed May 21,  2002 and is about 1 mile from the first one and is substantially larger.  

Remember that these are not tourist attractions and trespassing is prohibited.
